Teresa: A New Australian

Maltese-Australian author, Deborah Abela talks about her new book Teresa: A New Australian. Teresa and her family survived the bombing of their home in Malta and went hungry during the long siege of their island during the war. Her parents want a better life, and so Teresas father decides to leave for Australia. In Australia Teresa tries to learn Australian ways, avoid the bullies and do well at school.
