The father of the Maltese book, Paul Mizzi passes away

Malta and Gozo, lost the man who put Maltese book publishing on its feet. Considered as the Father of the Maltese book, Paul Mizzi was the founder of Klabb Kotba Maltin in 1969 and later Midsea Publications, which published prestigious publications about Malta. His publications today are truly landmarks in Maltese literature, language, culture and history. In this interview conducted by Joe Axiaq (SBS) and Sonya Young (RTK) during the fortnightly live link up, between SBS Radio in Melbourne and RTK in Malta in January 2010, Paul Mizzi talks about what prompt him to establish Klabb Kotba Maltin and Midsea books and how he managed to succeed in a business where ordinary men would otherwise have failed.
