Anna Hogan has spent many years in the welfare sector delivering support. cultural and social connections for workers coming from the Pacific Islands. This year is nominated for her dedication to community at the 2026 NSW Pacific Council Awards.
The 2026 NSW Pacific Council Awards is and annual event recognising the achievements of individuals and groups making an impact for Pacific Islander communities.
Anna Hogan is a finalist nominee for the NSW Pacific Council Awards, and is the Co-Founder of Pacific Connex an organisation focused on supporting Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme workers and strengthening the connection between employers and the Pacific community.
It can be really easy for workers to get exploited so agencies like ours and the Pacific Council are their to make sure, workers are getting treated fairly and they do have that connection and still hold that cultural connectionAnna Hogan
