"my difficulty was making sure with my design, that i am also thinking about sound, and lighting and, movement. Like how's my work, going to work with them"

NITV Radio speaks with Darrell Sibosado, a Bard man from Lombadina by the Dampier Peninsula of the Kimberley coast, Western Australia.

In their first time working with a First Nations visual artist, Bangarra Dance Theatre's Illume will have Darrell as an artist and cultural collaborator to bring the story of Country to life.

"with this work, lighting is a big part of it, and its trying to reflect my visual arts practice and at the same time give an essence or feel of my Country."

Bangarra Dance Theatres Illume will be touring nationally, from the 4th June to 13th September.
