Earth Wisdom is a new documentary film celebrating Aboriginal Elder Uncle Wayne Thorpe’s knowledge of connection to Country.

Leading to the premiering of the documentary on Saturday 06^th of May, NITV Radio caught up with Uncle Wayne, main protagonist in the film, film Director Alex Kundalini aka Bruce Alex Gil and producer Rob McDowell.

Uncle Wayne revealed how his people treat Mother Earth as a family member who cares and provides for us.

“When you look at nature as part of family then you’ve got more respect for her,” Uncle Wayne said.

“She doesn’t mind sharing things but when people start overdoing things… now they are destroying places… And that is disrespect for our mother.”
