Emma Donovan and Luke Carroll have joined Hearing Australia supporting a campaign to help promote the importance of HAPPEE -Hearing Assessment Program -Early Ears.
HAPPEE, a federal government supported initiative aims to engage communities and healthcare professionals with a focus on encouraging early and regular assessments for children before they reach school age.
Under this program, all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children not yet attending full time school are eligible for a free hearing check.
This service is now available across the country, as the program has expanded to care for more communities in urban, regional and metro areas.
