May 28th marks 25 years since the Walk for Reconciliation across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the year 2000. Frances Rings, proud Kokatha woman and Artistic Director of Bangarra Dance Theatre, was reporting live for SBS on the day and shares her personal reflections with NITV Radio.

As a young broadcaster and storyteller, Frances had a front-row seat to history, helping to amplify the voices of our mob and allies coming together for change.

Frances joins us to reflect on what it was like being on the ground as part of the SBS team, the power of media during moments of national significance, and the power of culture and story telling through performance in her role as Artistic Director at Bangarra.
