A big-hearted story about identity, belonging and finding the courage to show your true colours has officially arrived on bookshelves.
Written by Wiradjuri man, presenter, storyteller and advocate Jake Gablonski, Brave Like Bunji follows a young boy on a journey of self discovery across the stunning landscapes of the Katherine region in the Northern Territory. Along the way, Bunji learns that being different is something to be celebrated and that true bravery comes from embracing who you are.

Beautifully illustrated by acclaimed artist Samantha Campbell, the book is a celebration of culture, connection and representation for young readers.
Jake Gablonski joins NITV Radio to tell us more about the inspiration behind Brave Like Bunji and what he hopes children and families take away from the story.
