Mitch Tambo has embarked on another exciting new venture as a recently appointed ambassador for UNICEF Australia.
Through this appointment the Kamilaroi artist will lend his voice to campaigns, help to raise awareness for the biggest injustices facing children and speak up for those who often go unheard.
As a qualified youth social worker in addition to his musical talents, Mitch Tambo will specifically support campaigns focused on early childhood education and mental health awareness.
It’s been a huge year for Mitch Tambo, he was recently nominated for New Talent of the Year at the 2020 National Indigenous Music Awards and has enjoyed phenomenal chart success in the last 12 months.
Throughout the pandemic, Mitch Tambo also successfully launched his own chat show Tambo Talk streaming live on NITV Facebook.
