Leaders close to signing revamped Closing the Gap targets

A new national agreement signed last Friday, 3rd of July, will give Indigenous groups a greater say in Closing the Gap targets and how to achieve them. The renewed strategy now comprises sixteen targets replacing the previous iteration which has failed to overcome Indigenous disadvantage.
