Indigenous business owner and mum of two, Tessa Bobir is teaching women how to use steam and herbs to promote women's intimate and reproductive health.

Tessa Bobir is a Full spectrum Doula - meaning she supports people for a range of reasons and in many different settings; menarche, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, death and all the other life altering moments in between.

She is also the creator and owner of YoniHerbs Australia and is what’s known as a Yoni steam facilitator. Through this practice she creates herbal blends to guide women on how and why to yoni steam.

This ancient practice uses water steam and various herbal blends to promote women’s intimate and reproductive health.

Tessa discovered yoni steaming after giving birth to her second child. At that time, she realised that she was missing community. “The village that it takes, to raise a child,” as she calls it. She was so fascinated by the power of this ancient practice; she studied it and now shares it with others.

Herbs and steaming are not the only healing practices that Tessa Bobir has discovered for herself and now shares with others.

She has reached out and started to create the community she was missing as a new mother. She now leads and organises mother blessings, facilitates women’s circles and holds spaces for people to heal.
