Vonda Lasts’ Awakening premiered at First Voices Showcase

Held on Friday 26/05/2023 First Voices Showcase premiered the works of two Indigenous artists, including Vonda Last’s Awakening, performed by members of Australia’s first ensemble for classically trained First Nations musicians – Ensemble Dutala, alongside members of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO).

Vonda Last uses her musicality as an expression of her culture and what her family, their stories, her home and country mean to her.
