Saudi Arabia attacks

Suicide bombers have struck three cities across Saudi Arabia in an apparently co-ordinated campaign of attacks.

A bomb detonated near the security headquarters of the Prophet's Mosque in the holy city of Medina.Video of the aftermath of the explosion suggests a number of casualties. There was also an explosion near the United States consulate in Jeddah, and another near a Shi'ite mosque in the city of Qatif. The attacks all came as Saudis prepared to break their fast on the penultimate day of the holy month of Ramadan. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
