22032016 History of New Year’s celebration

Afghan New Year has been celebrated in Afghanistan and in some neighboring countries they have welcomed the spring season. Debate over the celebration of the New Year was hot in Afghanistan but despite all different views, the celebration was held across Afghanistan without any major security incident. We have looked at the history of New Years celebration and have interviewed member of Afghanistans Science Academy Mr Abdul Hadi Quraishi who speaks about the history of such celebration.
