Federal Labor's new leader Anthony Albanese [[AL-buh-NEEZ-ee]] says he'll be an opposition leader who holds the government to account, but won't seek out conflict. No other Labor M-P stood against Mr Albanese for the leadership. Anthony Albanese was elected as the Member for Grayndler in Sydney’s inner west in 1996, having lived in the area his entire life. The son of a single mother, he's paid tribute to her on his elevation to the federal Labor leadership. Please listen to the full report in Pashto.
