Afghan Australian Youth Association (AAYA) in NSW Australia was launched recently at a ceremony held in Sydney.


AAYA is established by Afghan youth living in Sydney to help other Afghan fellows with their issues.
The founder and member of the youth Association Mr. Hamed Kherkhah said that AAYA will work for the youth and will also organize the celebration of key cultural and national days.

In the first day of its launch, there was a one-day mini multicultural tournament where 12 teams took part, and the players were mainly from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
For the first time, young Pashtuns from Afghanistan and Pakistan came together and played cricket matches.
