Security and poor economic situation have been some of the major reasons that Afghans have left their country and sought asylum elsewhere. Asylum seekers undertake arduous journeys and often find harsh obstacles to settlement in their final destination countries. Zarwali Khan, an Afghan asylum seeker came to Australia at the end of 2012 and then decided to return to Afghanistan in mid-2016. He was one of the thousands of Asylum seekers whose future was not certain in Australia. Australia's strict immigration policy has made it difficult for boat arrivals to get Australian permanent visas. Zarwali Khan was one of the thousands who didn't want to live in limbo and returned to Afghanistan. We have interviewed him on his journey and asked about his present life in Afghanistan. Please listen to the second part of his interview here.
