The 29-year-old father was killed on December 17th. Father of four, Ibrahim Hotak has worked as an interpreter for Australian and US forces. Concerned for his four young children and family for whom Ibrahim was the sole earner, his friends have started a fundraiser on Facebook to assist them. Afghan National Association of Australia’s president Raz Mohammad said the crowdfunding total had topped $24,000 and after some expenses were taken out the family was given around 19,000 last night. Afghan Cricket Club on Sunday 20th January will organize a cricket match to honor late Ibrahim Hotak. Rashid Khan and some officials are expected to take part in the event. We have interviewed Raz Mohammad the president of Afghan National Association in Adelaide; you can listen to the full interview here.
