Afghan refugee crisis in Pakistan and the unresolved political tensions

Pakistan is pushing Afghan refugees to return to their country by the end of January 2018


The Afghan government is asking Pakistan to extend the deadline for Afghan refugees repatriation as the one-month deadline will case humanitarian crisis.

Pakistan has given a one-month ultimatum to more than one million unregistered Afghans to return to their country as they claim the move is for security reasons.

Afghan embassy officials in Pakistan are meeting politicians and government official to address refugees issues.

Its believed that the meetings had not persuaded Pakistan to ease on the matter.
