Naqeebullah came to Australia in 2001 and since then he was trying to bring his family to live in Australia.

His family’s visa application was once rejected, Naqeebullah has applied for the 2nd time, and it was in the process.

His wife and six children are living in Quetta.

Naqeebullah died of a heart attack on the evening of 26th June.

His family has been informed, and they wish to say their final goodbyes to their beloved.

Afghans in Melbourne plan to move the body back to Afghanistan for burial.

To cover the burial expenses, Melbourne Afghans opened a Go Fund Me and called on Afghan to contribute to the cost and assist his family.

One of late Naqeebullah’s friend Dr Waheed who is nominated to receive the body talked to SBS Pashto and said Naqeeb's family do not have the financial means to bear the burden of covering the funeral expenses.

We spoke to Dr Waheed to know more about the late Naqeebullah and his burial arrangements.
