Australia's First People are Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders. Convicts travelling on the first fleet were the first European settlers in Australia, followed by a long history of migrants from many parts of the world. Today Australia is one of world's biggest multicultural societies and significant number of Afghans also lives in Australia.
