Ban Ki-moon delivers parting blast over failures of world leadership

Departing UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has rebuked leaders at the United Nations General Assembly for failing to tackle many of the world's problems. Mr Ban singled out the ongoing conflict in Syria, offering some of the most stinging criticism of his tenure as head of the world body. Ban Ki-moon used his final address to the General Assembly to unleash his outrage at leaders who have been supporting the five-year-long conflict in Syria.
