Concerns over power shortage in Kabul

In Kabul the power shortage has affected businesses and families. Some Kabul residents complain that they are struggling to cope with the cold weather while there is no power in their homes. They allegedly blame the government for not fairly distributing the electricity. Businesses say if this trend continues they might be forced to close their factories. The authorities say Kabul residents are increasingly using more electricity in winter and this is causing the shortage. Listen to our report here.
