A new date has been announced for the Wolesi Jirga and District Council elections in Afghanistan.
According to the schedule on Saturday, the Wolesi Jirga and District Council elections will be held on 20th October 2018.It is while the Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan (IEC) earlier announced that the election date is 7 July, but now they set the new date with the delay of few months.
