Muslims around the world will celebrate the three-day Eid al-Fitr festival this weekend. Depending on the sighting of the moon, Eid will either start on Sunday, June 25 or Monday, June 26. Eid al-Fitr means "festival of breaking the fast" and marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. It is celebrated for three days, and on the morning of the first day, Muslims gather for prayer.
