FATA merger parks widespread protest

Pakistan’s parliament has passed a controversial reform of Fata where Fata will merge to KPK province.

In Peshawar city, hundreds of people have protested against the move and calling it unconstitutional.

Some Tribal leaders say that they have not been consulted on this matter and also its crucial that the tribal areas residents should have their say.

Some Tribal leaders say that they want an independent state where they can have their role in law and can run on its resources.
