How practical is Taliban’s recent threat?

The Afghan military has announced that they have prepared an operational plan for the next five years which aims to defeat Taliban in different parts of the country. Meanwhile, on Tuesday the Taliban announced their spring operation - Operation Omari. Despite the recent threat by Taliban, the Afghan military says that they are well prepared to defeat the Taliban on the ground. We have interviewed a former Afghan Army officer General Atiqullah Amarkhil who is talks about recent developments in the security situation in Afghanistan.
