Dozens of people have held a vigil in Melbourne in memory of a Sudanese refugee from Manus Island who died over Christmas. Faysal Ishak Ahmed was transferred to a Brisbane hospital over Christmas after what the Immigration Department says was a seizure and a fall at the processing centre in Papua New Guinea. The 27 year-old is the third detainee from the facility to die since 2014.
