Afghan women delegates are currently visiting Australia to participate in the 2nd annual people-to-people dialogue.


The dialogue is part of enhancing the relationship between the two countries.

The Afghan women delegates are meeting various government organization, councils, diaspora groups, and others.

Nahid Hamidi is one of the delegates from Afghanistan; she is the CEO of Shagirf LTD a gemstone processing company in Afghanistan. She has not only serving the domestic market, but she gained a place in the international market too.

We spoke to her about her career and how one incident has changed her life.
