Pakistan’s lower house of Parliament passed a controversial constitutional amendment to extend the political, administrative and human rights reforms to the tribal areas.
This act has sparked some protests in the city of Peshawar where some tribal leaders denounce such move.
Lecturer in one of Sydney Universities Dr. Ehsan Azari has looked at the history of tribal areas and also whether Pakistan government move was acceptable by the signed treaty.
