Participants of a meeting held in Peshawar requested the release of their relatives from Afghanistan’s prisons.

No official figures are available to show how many Pakistanis are serving their time in Afghanistan’s prisons.

The family members of Pakistani prisoners in Afghanistan has gathered in Peshawar press club to request the release of their family members from prisons in Afghanistan.

The participants of the meeting claimed that a number of the prisoners have completed their prison sentence time in jail but they are still not released. Participants also asked from the governments of Afghanistan and Pakistan to take serious steps in this regard.
