Pashtun women and politics

In any political environment male and female politicians play key roles in addressing social issues and in the development of society. In many Pashtun areas women face challenges in obtaining an education or to enter politics. In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtonkhowa, Aisha Naeem has changed the practice. Aisha has not only achieved a higher education but she became a politician. She says that going into politics wasn't an easy decision and now she wants to address social issues and help in the development of the society.
