Polio is not haram

Afghanistan's Public Health Ministry has launched a country wide campaign in order to eradicate polio in Afghanistan. The ministry says that there have been three positive cases last year. In the launch of this nationwide campaign tribal elders and religious scholars have also expressed their support and called upon Afghan to take active part in this campaign. Religious scholars say that polio drops are not haram but that vaccination is a fundamental right. Abdul Rauf Zazai has more.
