Reports: Maternal mortality has decreased in Afghanistan

Based on the recent reports, this year there less maternal mortality has been recorded.


Despite this good news, Afghanistan is still making the highest maternal mortality rate in the region. Lack of medical centers and lack of access to midwives in rural areas are the major cause of the deaths. Najia Safi has more; please listen to the full report here.
