Afghanistans senate members believe that the militants might have roots in Afghanistan Airforce.

The Senate says the recent bombardment of the local police by the Afghan air force has raised doubts whether Afghan anti-government militants have roots in Afghan Airforce.

The deputy speaker Mohamad Asif Siddiqi told SBS Pashto that the government should investigate the resulting bombardment which has killed 10 Afghan forces.

Afghan Defence Ministry says this incident was a mistake and the investigation is ongoing.
