Sultan Cricket Academy won the multicultural cricket Cup

Afghan Australian Youth Association has launched a multicultural cricket tournament where more than 12 teams have taken part.


The Cricket Tournament was hosted by AAYA and supported by Sydney Thunder and Cricket NSW. The teams and players were from different religious and multicultural backgrounds including Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh where seven teams represented Afghanistan.

The Grand Final was played between (Afghan Strikers and Sultan Cricket Academy), and Sultan cricket Academy won the tournament. SBS Pashto program was present at the Finals and have made a full report that you can listen to it here.
