Tension grows between Pakistan and India

India and Pakistan have announced tit-for-tat sanctions as fears grew that the two nuclear powers may be moving towards war. The tensions are not new as both countries have a history of wars. Pakistan and India have taken the measures of banning jet flights in their air spaces and troops have been massing on both sides of their shared border. In the disputed Kashmir region there have been exchanges of fire. Afghanistan is a key player and occupies a strategic position for both countries. The question that remains is whether the tensions between the India and Pakistan will have any effect on Afghanistan and what role Afghanistan will play in the conflict?
