The Afghan Air Force is short on planes to fight the Taliban

Afghanistan's armed forces are short of combat-ready air-crafts. There have been promises for equipping the air force, but those promises have never come to fruition. Comments by some US official in regards to the Afghan air force capability have come under criticism.
