The crackdown on media sparks protests

In Pakistan, the media and journalists alleged the government’s crackdown on media where a significant number of journalists were forced to leave their jobs. Some political parties also claim that the government and military as adding more pressure on them so they can not operate freely. Pakistan ANP political party held a protest in Peshawar and called on the Pakistani government to ease the pressure on the media and political parties.
