The family of Shakil Afridi’s former lawyer asks the international community for help

Shakil Afridi is a Pakistani physician who helped the CIA run a fake hepatitis vaccine program in Abbottabad, Pakistan, to confirm Osama bin Laden's presence in the city by obtaining DNA samples. After the US killed Osama Bin Laden, Shakil was arrested in Pakistan, and since then he is behind bars. Shakil’s former lawyer Samiullah Afridi was shot dead four years ago.
