The recent report on Syrian war shows that more than two thousand Afghan who was fighting for Bashar ul Asad region were killed and around eight thousands were injured.


This new have sparked widespread condemnation in Afghanistan where politicians and youth are calling on the leaders not to encourage youth to take part in any foreign wars. It is believed that those sent to Syria were backed by Iran and Afghan Shias have close ties with Iran and its believed that those killed were mostly Shia Afghans.
