In both Afghanistan and Pakistan, insecurity and poverty have made 70% of people who have a mental illness.


In Afghanistan and Pakistan, insecurity and poverty have caused a lot of people to suffer from psychological illness, which has a great impact on their lives.
It is very unfortunate that psychological or mental illnesses patients in these countries do not always get treatment and most of them live with this disease all over their lives.
There is only one doctor for every five hundred thousand mental health patients in Pakistan.


Psychiatric illness can be treated, but many Pashtuns do not get the therapy for cultural and traditional reasons.
