Thousands of Pakistani citizens are concerned about the cancelation of their ID cards

In light of new security measures, a significant number of Pakistani citizens got to know that their national IDs were canceled.

They say this cancelation has happened to some of their family members. They have expressed their concerns over the recovery of their ID cards saying it taken months to do so. Talking with SBS Pashto, some people said they have waited for months to solve these problems, and some said they had been given different dates, but still their issues have not been solved.Some others say that they are harassed by the police due to the removal of their identity cards and even in the custody of police stations.Our Reporter Islam Gul Afridi has a full report, you can listen to it here
