Transgenders say that they want to take an active role in Pakistani politics and address issues facing Pakistani societies.


They have nominated their candidates to fight in Pakistan’s upcoming elections.

This will be the first time in Pakistan that transgenders will participate in the elections.
The Pakistani government has recently given certain rights to the transgenders, and the most important right is to give a national ID card and driving license.
They say Pakistan’s Election Commission should give them some facilities and accept their request.
