Tribespeople protest against the government

The twin suicide bombing Parachinar killed 72 and injured more than 100. There are ongoing protests in different parts cities of Pakistan accusing the government of double standards.On the other hand, media persons were stopped at Chapri check post near Parachinar on Thursday. They were going to cover the protest that has been under way since a week now against suicide blasts and firing on the demonstrators in Parachinar.However, the protesters said they would go to get the media persons if the latter were not allowed to access them.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced compensation money for the families of individuals killed and injured in the Parachinar blasts on June 23.As per the announcement, Rs1 million will be given to the families of people killed in the two explosions that rocked Parachinar, Kurram Agency recently. Besides, Rs0.5 million has been announced for those left injured by the explosions.
