Dementia refers to a collection of symptoms caused by disorders affecting the brain, the most common type being Alzheimer’s disease.


September is National Dementia Awareness Month. An estimated 425,000 Australians are living with dementia which impact the individual living with the condition as well as their loved ones who often provide the support and care.
