"The young Saduddin born in the very natural environment of fragrant green fruity gardens of Khan-Abad, Kunduz (Afghanistan) in 1933 never thought that he will become a Shpoon (The Shepard). A Shepard who was born to give new directions to Pukhto literature and lead the novel in the most confused global realities of the modern times. In his early years, Shpoon thought of the literature as a miracle to be performed only by legends like Rumi, Saadi and Sherazi. It simply was beyond the capability of ordinary human beings like him or his fellow beings. He never thought that his own life in itself will ever become a novel and that one day, his own autobiography will also become a novel. We have interviewed his close friend and fellow Afghan writer and poet Mr Abdul Hadi Hadi on his life and wishes. Please listen to the full interview here
