Sahib Shah Sabir was a renowned poet of Pashto language in the modern era.


Sahib Shah Sabir was born in 1956 in Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and passed away in 2007.

Pro. Sahib Shah has published numerous works including poetry collections.

His two books Khobona and Takal were most popular, and a prominent singer Keran Khan has released a complete audio album of his Ghazals and Nazms.

Sardar Ali Takar is another Pashto singer who has sung Sabir Shah’s poetry.

In Peshawar Pakistan, prominent Pashto writers and singers held the 12th death anniversary of Pro. Sahib Shah Saber.
