Afghanistan has signed a peace agreement with Hezb-i-Islami which gives a chance for the group's leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar to make a political comeback, despite the allegations of war crimes against him. Government officials praised Thursday's agreement in the capital Kabul as a step towards peace. The deal was supported in gatherings across Afghanistan.
