ACCC wants harsher penalties for producers of unsafe items

Faulty products injure hundreds of Australians each year. Now, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission ((ACCC)) is calling for harsher penalties for manufacturers who produce unsafe items and for customers to be more aware of their rights. The ACCC says more needs to be done to strengthen consumer laws.
